The Centenary Annual Reunion Dinner

The Guildhall Southampton

The Chairman of the Dinner will be Ted Colenutt (1931–1938 - Taunton's schoolboy, former Second Master Taunton's School, former Vice-Principal Richard Taunton College, and current President of the Old Tauntonian Association). 2010 will also mark his 90th birthday.

For any or all of these reasons the 2010 Dinner will be a very special occasion.

The Annual Reunion Dinner is open to all past and present members of the School or College. To apply for tickets, you can view and print the application form here as a Microsoft Word document or here as a pdf document (NB: these open in a new window). This form was sent out with the last News & Views publication sent out in April 2010.

A special rate of £40 (including full English breakfast) has been arranged for overnight accommodation at The Southampton Park Hotel. It is essential to book ahead of the event. Ensure that at the time of booking “Attendance at the Old Tauntonians' Association's Dinner” is specifically mentioned. The Southampton Park Hotel is on the opposite side of Watts Park from the Guildhall.

There are two Southampton City car parks behind The Southampton Park Hotel. One is at ground level, and the other is a well-lit multi storey car park. There is also a Southampton City well-lit multi storey car park in West Park Road, west of the Civic Centre. For more details about parking in Southampton click here. There will be a charge if you are successful in securing a place.

These are excellent value lunches (including various 'carvery' options) in congenial/companionable hotel surroundings.
