College's Tanzania Project

Sophie Braithwaite, the Charities Officer of the Student Committee, has written an article in the April edition of News & Views to explain the motivation and hopes for the project.

15 teenagers, three teachers, and a ton of bricks are off to Moshi, Tanzania in June 2006 – their mission, to build a school!

Fundraising fever has gripped the Tanzania team, who need to raise £6,000 in addition to all their strength, energy and enthusiasm. "We want to create a safe and nurturing environment in which these impoverished children can learn, socialise and grow."

The OTA has provided £400 of sponsorship towards the project.
