Old Bournemouthians' Association Dinner 2007

The OBA Dinner was again held at the Queens Hotel, on Friday 21 September. There were seven OTs amongst the 160 who attended the dinner. This year George Pledger was the OBA's guest.

The main speaker should have been Mark Austin, the ITN newsreader and journalist and ex-student of Bournemouth School. Unfortunately, he was covering the Prime Minister's visit to South Africa and his return to the UK was delayed. Neil Bichard, Chairman OBA, rose to the occasion and did an excellent job as a substitute speaker.
