Old Tauntonian & Old Bournemouthian Golf Day 2009

The Old Tauntonian & Old Bournemouthian Golf Day was held at Dibden Golf Centre on Wednesday 27 May. Having had a lovely day on the 26th and several beautiful days after the 27th, our day was windy, cold and drizzly! However, the course was good, particularly the greens. We all finished and thoroughly enjoyed the day.

We had 32 players and, in the evening, 36 people at the dinner. Sadly there are those who could not be with us this year, but we welcomed three newcomers to the event: Stuart King from Bournemouth, and Nigel Ward and David Harrison from Tauntons.

The now standard format of three simultaneous competitions was followed: The John Rush Trophy, The Old Bournemouthian Seniors Trophy and The Pomeroys Cup, an overall Stableford Competition.
